Inspired by the GREATEST GUY EVER.

Tim Burton is my favorite...well favorite anything. He is my number one role model. Director, writer, poet, artist, and just person. Every interview I see him in he is really just down to Earth and so into what he does. I hope to be just as talented as he is some day.

this one image is the image by tIM burton that inspired my illustration.

..how to be scene..

A couple months ago, a lot of people referred to me as a "scene kid." You know, skinny jeans...and black eyeliner everywhere? Well I did do all that, so I guess I did fall into that category.

But this is for all the skinny people that made fun of me. HA.

Oh...by the way? I have to do another how-to so people who cannot read can actually understand it :) oops!!

Macinac Island- BEST PLACE EVER.

For this project, we had to choose either our favorite place we have been, or some where we really want to go to one day.
Over this past summer, my parents took me to Michigan for two weeks. Michigan...is breathtaking. There are art galleries and art stores absolutely EVERYWHERE. It was my peninsula-version of Heaven.
The upper peninsula, otherwise known as the U.P., is famous for having an amazing abundance of wild life, and being one of the top places to live if you like winter, the outdoors, and plenty of homey places to eat.
Getting up closer to the top of the Great Lakes and Canada, there is a Macinac city.
It's pronounced Macinaw, and especially people who have never been to Michigan
will pronounce the "c" as a "k".

Well...there is a special little ferry that will take people to the Island. The ferry, or a regular boat with an awesome name, goes super speedy fast-but it feels sooo good.
Once you get to the island, you will notice two things at the very least: there are no cars, and a lot of fudge shops. And a very distinct smell of horse crap.
There are I think only three-five vehicles on the island, and they are only used for emergencies. Usually people take bikes, and tourists usually take a horse trolley and walk everywhere else.
Can you imagine their carbon footprints?????

There are tons of scary stories and exciting tales. There is a governor, and his/her house is HUGE. The main hotel of the island which is very famous is called the Grand Hotel. Unfortunately, it's very expensive. But it's GORGEOUS...
