Scissors for Hands and Nightmares for Gifts.

For our official first project in our class, we did a collage on our favorite thing/idea/whatever. I chose Tim Burtons Creations of course, having to google this and use photoshop for the very first time. Difficulties, difficulties....
My virtual paper was filled to the brim with Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Winona Ryder, and the Brains Behind it All, Tim Burton. I was instructed to experiment with shadows, and color changing-ness...and it was AWESOME.
I chose Tim Burton for one reason: He is my idol. I want to grow up and meet him before I die, I hope to have a copy of his artwork-book, and just bask in his greatness. His style is disturbing and beautiful (at the same time), and his stories makes sense and teach a lesson. All his movies make me laugh, cry, smile, feel pain for the characters, and clap at the end. This is called evoking emotions, and that's what a great piece of artwork does to people.
